Internet

While Direbox can operate totally off-grid by floating its own access point, you can also connect it to the Internet to enable additional features via Settings > Internet.

Simply click the Add Network button and enter your access point's network name and password. Saved networks will then be displayed in a list under Settings > Internet for you to view.

Networks can be deleted from this list via the Close button.

Direbox can store multiple access points and will automatically connect to the strongest signal. If no access point is in range, Direbox will automatically float a hotspot instead.

Certain Direbox features, like Maps and iGating, require an Internet connection.

Connecting to your home network is useful for base stations or fixed stations, as it allows Direbox to be accessed by any device connected to your local network.
