Feature Restrictions
Direbox is designed to be the most full-featured and flexible mesh networking platform possible.
However, because Direbox is frequency-agnostic, not all of its features are legal for certain license types and/or frequency ranges.
Rather than make multiple builds of Direbox for different types of radio operators, we have opted to give total control of all features to the end user. We are not responsible for how you use Direbox. You, as the operator emitting radio transmissions, are fully accountable for any RF emissions your station may make.
This means that some features Direbox utilizes, like store-and-forward digipeating and encryption, may need to be disabled in your Settings for regulatory compliance. Some frequencies may not allow digital modes at all.
