AIOC (All In One Cable) Support (v0.24)

You asked, we delivered - Direbox now supports the AIOC (All-In-One-Cable)!

These little soundcards are designed to be affordable interfaces to Kenwood-style HT connectors like those found on the Quangsheng UV-K5, Baofeng UV-5R, and many others. Mesh network messaging with budget Chinese radios has never been easier!

Like Direbox itself, the AIOC is designed for builders - you can buy a prefab AIOC online or make one yourself. There's even a nice little 3D printed case for a full DIY experience.

This update may also work with alternative form-factors of the AIOC like the AIOB (All-In-One-Board) which run the same firmware, but we've only tested with the AIOC.

Technical Details

AIOC support in Direbox uses the DTR serial line instead of CM108 mode as described in the AIOC docs. This update also sets the default audio sampling rate of Direwolf to 48000Hz for maximum compatibility with both Digirig and AIOC.

If you are one of the handful of AIOC users who've updated their direwolf.conf file manually, I recommend updating to version 0.24 of Direbox and using the autoconfig option instead of your initial config.

A huge thanks to members of our Discord community for suggesting this feature and helping with testing!
